So it dawned on me last weekend that I simply had to take control of my life and do more of what I love to do as opposed to what others require of me. I give you my word when I say I could write a full-blown dissertation on my life and adventures over the past few weeks/months, but I’m not about to take anyone to school so I’ll jump right in to the juicy stuff!
This month I hit my one year natural anniversary*whoop whoop*! If you had asked me this time last year what my hair situation would be a year on I would have probably said something along the lines of: armpit length, healthy & heat free. Well that’s not quite how things have turned out! I decided in August of this year to do the unthinkable and cut my hair! All around me were photos of women with the yummiest of tapered cuts and I couldn’t help but want to join them, and so I did.
After a few weeks of research and one cancelled hair appointment I finally struck gold when Darren of the Darren Scott Salon assured me that he unlike many of the salons I had contacted, would happily cut my hair in its natural state i.e without straightening or blow drying it first.
So, one year later here I am with shoulder length hair and a tapered cut!
To celebrate my one year post ‘Transitioner Chop‘ the Darren Scott Salon will be offering one lucky reader the opportunity to have their hair treated and trimmed or cut in their London based salon. So if you’re looking for some hair TLC to start off the New Year then all you have to do to enter is comment in this post or on my ‘Length Check and Updates’ video ‘ENTER ME‘
The giveaway is open to anyone who can make their way to the salon in London, and closes midnight on Saturday 6th December.
Have a great Monday!
