One of hubbys biggest observations throughout the course of our courting period [7+ years], was that I wasn’t very experimental with my hair, at least when it came to hairstyles. Even going back as far as my relaxed hair days, photos bear witness to the fact that I lived in buns 95% of the time and very rarely left my hair out. My long time blog readers may even recall my 30 day hairstyle challenge, which was suggested by you know who [Hubby], and my older sister to force me into being more experimental!

Yes, it’s finally here! The results of my 6 month growth challenge in preparation for my big day which now feels like so long ago. For those who aren’t quite sure of what I’m talking about here is a quick recap before you scroll down to see the results:

I’ve got to say I’m very happy with the amount of growth I retained from February right through to August, especially bearing in mind I was forced into a dusting session in mid May, after forgetting both my Satin Pillowcase… READ MORE...
Ever since my recent experience with EvaWigs I’ve been on several Hair Extension websites in search of a unit to get me through the cold winter months. Unlike my earlier relaxed hair days when I would sometimes sport a sewn in weave for 3-4 weeks without giving my hair the necessary amount of TLC, life in a glueless lace wig is a dream. Washing, moisturising and sealing and even baggying, are just a few of the treats my hair gets to enjoy whilst being tucked away.
Today I’m here to tell you that the wig searching came to a quick and exciting end when I stumbled upon this LOB Inspired Unit just yesterday. I’ve been obsessed with the LOB [long … READ MORE...
Had you dared me a month ago to wear a full lace wig unit out of my house I would have instantly declined! That was until this unit, the wig that changed the game and now has me in debates with myself as to whether or not my bank account can handle the expense of another unit considering I’ll be making a trip to Bicester Village in less than two weeks time!
If there is one lipgloss that has been taking over the Instagram makeup feed of late it’s hands down Lime Crimes notorious Salem.
For as long as I can remember I’ve shied away from such bold lipsticks, often thinking that they were for special occasions and only whipping out my old time favourite Ruby Woo by Mac, when my face was covered in makeup, or I had a glamorous night out on the horizon.
This was of course until the likes of Lime Crime and brands like Colour Pop, LA Splash Cosmetics, Coloured Raine as well as a few other brands, introduced the world to what I call the matte lipgloss, better yet a selection of seriously friendly women of… READ MORE...
Lately I’ve been experiencing the post wedding blues! Had you asked me this time last year how I envisioned our wedding turning out it wouldn’t have come a fraction close to how it actually did. Settling back in at work was my biggest concern after the wedding and honeymoon, I mean anyone off work for 4 weeks journeying from one warm country to another tropical island would most likely sink into a small pit of depression when returning back to cold and rainy London, no?!
Okay so perhaps I’m exaggerating just a little bit, but I definitely can’t quite get the wedding and honeymoon out of my mind.
With hopes of not bombarding you for much longer with wedding photos, … READ MORE...
