My First Wash And Go High Puff
Though my Protective Style Challenge finished way back in July, I feel I’ve jumped from one protective style to the next and have barely had the chance to enjoy my hair in its natural glory.
The problem is, protective styling [especially wig wearing] can make you lazy! If you’ve ever done a protective style challenge you may well have experienced what I call ‘PPSSS‘- Post Protective Style Stress Syndrome! Otherwise known as the stress you experience when you return to looking after your own hair, and you realise it takes sooooo much longer to style! The struggle is real! #NoMoreWakeUpAndGo!
Well, last week I decided it was high time I jumped on the wash and go bandwagon, and find a way to style my hair without it having to dry overnight. My hairstyle choice? A wash and go high puff. A mixture of one of my favourite hairstyles + quick and easy to achieve.
I used a combination of four products and two tools to help me achieve this look:
- Denman Brush (great tool for curl clumping & definition)
- Boar Bristle Brush (great tool for smoothing edges)
Of course this post wouldn’t be complete without a tutorial, so do check out the video below to see how I achieved this look. Also you can save 5% on any purchases made on tgin products via the tginstore with the discount code: ‘loveyourtresses’!
